The extra-fine, hollow-ground blades are hand-honed on both the inside and outside edges. The silky smooth action makes them perfect for finishing and light work, giving you superior results again and again. Not recommended for all-purpose use.

Compact screw/bushing adjustment provides exact tolerances to ensure correct screw tension is maintained. These LEFT HANDED curved shears measure 8 1/2".

One major improvement resulting from these tours was the introduction of ball bearing pivot mechanisms. Many of our product lines include models with Ball Bearing pivots. This state-of-the-art design incorporates ball bearings in a housing press-fitted into the pivot hole. The ball bearing restricts motion at the pivot to a single plane eliminating annoying "wobble" such as when the pivot hole normally wears due to motion against the pivot pin. The bearings provide minimal friction at the pivot point so scissoring action becomes nearly effortless.
