Superbly crafted of specially selected Japanese steel, these Geib Crocodile Shears are vacuum-forged and ice-tempered to produce an ultra sharp and long-lasting cutting edge. The extra fine, hollow-ground blades are hand-honed on both the inside and outside edges.

The silky smooth action makes them perfect for finishing and light work, giving you superior results again and again. Each shear comes with a black mock-crocodile tri-fold case with a magnetic closure. LEFT HANDED 48-Tooth Blending Shear measures 8" and is ideal for thinning and blending coats.

One major improvement resulting from these tours was the introduction of ball bearing pivot mechanisms. Many of our product lines include models with Ball Bearing pivots. This state-of-the-art design incorporates ball bearings in a housing press-fitted into the pivot hole. The ball bearing restricts motion at the pivot to a single plane eliminating annoying "wobble" such as when the pivot hole normally wears due to motion against the pivot pin. The bearings provide minimal friction at the pivot point so scissoring action becomes nearly effortless.
