Geib Cheetah pet grooming shears are manufactured from a superior quality stainless steel alloy with a Rockwell Hardness rating of 62. Blades are double hollow ground to produce the ideal cutting angle. Unique double-step edge provides for superior strength, while still allowing a super sharp edge to be put on. Handles and finger rests are contoured for maximum comfort and precision. Lightweight Starlite Geib Cheetah Shears have holes in the widest part of the blade to dramatically reduce the weight of the shear for ultra-light, ultra-smooth handling. Ergonomic handles with teardrop-shaped finger holes provide superior comfort during use. 8 1/2" shears have a dial adjuster for hassle-free tension adjustments.

One major improvement resulting from these tours was the introduction of ball bearing pivot mechanisms. Many of our product lines include models with Ball Bearing pivots. This state-of-the-art design incorporates ball bearings in a housing press-fitted into the pivot hole. The ball bearing restricts motion at the pivot to a single plane eliminating annoying "wobble" such as when the pivot hole normally wears due to motion against the pivot pin. The bearings provide minimal friction at the pivot point so scissoring action becomes nearly effortless.
